We are happy to have everyone back in the building learning and participating in activities again following break. We are also grateful to have Mr. Sam and his facilities team back with us.
We are thrilled to have a partnership with The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth, who are coming out to our school to meet with students and support families within our community. Languages: Arabic, Ukrainian & Russian.
Grade 9 Gift of Art Legacy Project
What is the “Gift of Art” legacy project?
The walls of John Ware are adorned with artwork that spans years. Each of these pieces has been created and donated by a student in grade 9 who wanted to participate in this legacy project. If you are creative or an aspiring artist, please consider participating in this year’s showcase. The winning art piece will be kept at John Ware and displayed for years to come.
What is the purpose?
To leave a visual legacy for the graduating class of 2024-2025 to be kept at John Ware School.

School Council | April 15, 2025
Research shows when families are invested in their child’s education and actively engaged in what is happening within the school community, students experience higher levels of success. We need more voices in helping shape opportunities for students and supporting staff in making our school even better.
