John Ware Families

November is now upon us and with it, cooler weather. Students will need to bring in hoodies and sweats to throw on when going over to SLC for gym class, please.

Remembrance Day

This coming week, we will be honoring Remembrance Day on Thursday, November 7 at 10:30 am. Students who participate in Cadets, Guides and other service units are encouraged to wear their uniforms for the service beginning at 10:45 am. Families are welcome to join us in the gym.

Survey Results

We are thrilled to share we have received updated student results from OurSCHOOL survey completed in the beginning of October.

survey results

Students are reporting a greater sense of belonging and safety at school, which we have been working at diligently to address these key areas for student and staff wellbeing within the school. Regular attendance, participation in activities and clubs, and fostering relationships with peers and staff all support student wellbeing, which is a particular need (and challenge) in Junior High. Well done, everyone!

Grade 9 Optional Sailing Trip | Spring 2025

Parent Meeting: November 19 at 5:00 PM

Optional trips such as these are a unique opportunity to participate in learning from a different location alongside peers and staff.

Optional trips are paid fully by families and bursaries are not available. The cost of the trip is approximately $3 000.00 including flights, transportation, meals, instruction and all activities for the duration of the trip. *Tsuut’ina Education offers bursaries to support families who live on the Nation.
