Today begins our Fall Break for students. Students will return to school on Thursday, November 14. Enjoy the time and consider attending a Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday, November 11. Thank you to Ms. Hedeman and Ms. Mickler for leading our school assembly today and the student participants to helped honor the many people who have contributed to our sense of safety in Canada.

Gym Strip | Changing for Physical Education Each Day
Students are asked to change into athletic attire to support their engagement in PE class, and also to identify them as a John Ware student when at SLC for classes. Students are able to wear ANY athletic bottom of their choice (sweat pants, leggings, shorts) and a John Ware shirt.
Please support your child in meeting the expectations by helping them pack PE clothing for the return to school on Thursday. Thank you.

Grade 9 Optional Sailing Trip | Spring 2025
We are planning our trip for April 14-18 2025 for students in grade 9 to participate in a multi- day optional trip to Victoria, British Columbia for a sailing trip. This year we are sailing with SEAS.
Parent Meeting: November 19 at 5:00 PM
Optional trips such as these are a unique opportunity to participate in learning from a different location alongside peers and staff.
Optional trips are paid fully by families and bursaries are not available. The cost of the trip is approximately $3 000.00 including flights, transportation, meals, instruction and all activities for the duration of the trip. *Tsuut’ina Education offers bursaries to support families who live on the Nation.
